How long has Underhill Animal Hospital been established?

  • Underhill Animal Hospital was established in 1957 by Dr. Horace E. Caton, and was the 4th animal hospital in Central Florida. During the past 45 years, Underhill Animal Hospital has expanded four times. Starting from a modest 1,500 sq. ft. building to a newly built state-of-the-art, 8,000 sq. ft hospital completed in 2002. We are a full service hospital and have remained updated with the latest technologies in examination, diagnostic and treatment equipment. Our clinic offers the newest advancements in anesthesiology, dentistry, radiology and surgical monitoring equipment for the utmost in pet safety.

What can becoming a client of Underhill Animal Hospital do for me?

  • Our knowledge of preventative medicine, proper nutrition, maintenance and the latest advances in treating disease is coupled with love and compassion for the animals under our care. This helps to form a critical relationship link between yourself, your pet and your veterinarian. Our Staff is very dedicated to the welfare of your pet. We have a true love and concern for your precious companion.

Do I have to stay with my pet in order receive services?

  • No is the answer!! Underhill Animal Hospital offers a morning "drop-off" service. This is available on most any service that we offer and is at no additional cost to you. We are happy to keep you informed during the time your pet is with us, until you "pick-up." Of course, you are always welcome to stay with us in our customer lobby during service. The choice is yours!

Why is there a law enforcement enterance and who uses it?

  • The law enforcement door is used primarily for officers of as many as 17 law enforcement agencies departments. Underhill Animal Hospital's dedication to these agencies has earned them the trust in caring for K-9 Unit dogs for more than 20 years.
