Daniel A. Hill, DVM Senior Clinician-Chief Surgeon

Dr. Daniel Hill is a lifelong resident of the State of Florida. He was honorably discharged after four years in the military and is a Vietnam veteran. He spent eight years at the University of Florida obtaining a Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 1977 and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine which he earned in 1981. Dr. Hill began to practice at Underhill Animal Hospital with Dr. Horace Caton and then took over the practice in 1986. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Hill has taken a special interest in the complete care of our law enforcement specially trained canines. He has been entrusted with the dogs of the Orange County Sheriffs' Dept., Osceola Sheriffs' Dept., Seminole Sheriffs’ Dept., U.S. Customs, Orange County MBI, Florida Highway Patrol, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Maitland, Winter Park, Ocoee and Orlando Police Departments. Dr. Hill is married to Tone, our Hospital Manager, and they have two children, Danny and Heidi. They also have a cat, Pumba; a dog, Axel and an African Gray Parrot, Doc.

Kelley Ann Cole Stanko, DVM
Dr. Cole grew up in Gainesville, Florida and graduated from the University of Notre Dame where she was a varsity cheerleader for four years. After Notre Dame, she attended the University of Florida and obtained her Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cole has been an associate of Underhill Animal Hospital for six years. Her special interests include dermatology, behavior and reproduction. She is currently setting up a fertility program for dogs and cats here at Underhill. She brings to our animal hospital the most current information and up to date treatment protocols in Veterinary Medicine. She lives with her husband Andy and her dog, Kyra. (pictured).

James Barnett , DVM
Dr. Barnett was raised in California and moved to the Central Florida area in 1989. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1996. He is a member of The American Veterinary Medical Assn. and The International Association of Aquatic Animal Medicine. His special interests are exotic animals, marine mammals, surgery and pathophysiology.
